“ As entrepreneurs, we hold the power to shape more than businesses - we shape lives when we build God's Kingdom.” - Ben Lovro
In the midst of a season of building and restructuring, I have found myself in a place of reflection over the past several weeks. Thinking about my purpose and along with it, the legacy I wish to build and leave behind. I woke up this morning with a profound conviction that was so clear that I couldn’t wait to sit down and write about it.
“Focus on building (Gods Kingdom), before your own.”
It’s easy to become consumed by personal ambitions and the pursuit of becoming the greatest version of yourself. While this is important on my list of priorities, there are seasons when I m so focussed on my goals that I forget to put God first.
First in my marriage
First in my relationships
First in my finances
First in my business decisions
The list goes on…
In today's culture, we are constantly bombarded with messages that equate success solely with material possessions, and it is all too easy to fall into the trap of measuring our worth by society's standards. As I reflect, I have delved deeper into the meaning of life and why I began these entrepreneurial endeavors in the first place.
Building God's Kingdom entails embracing a transformative shift when it comes to mindset and priorities. It means recognizing that our talents, resources, and opportunities are not simply bestowed upon us for personal gain, but are gifts intended to be used for a greater good. It means seeing every business endeavor as an avenue to spread love, compassion, and justice in a broken world. It means viewing every success, setback, and interaction as an opportunity for growth an for the ability to extend compassion to others.
As I evaluate the foundation of my entrepreneurial pursuits - my goal is to foster an environment that encourages growth, both professionally and spiritually, recognizing that success is not measured solely by the bottom line, but by the positive impact, we have on the lives of those around us.
I sit here and reflect, I am reminded that success is not solely defined by earthly achievements, but by the eternal impact we make on the lives of others. Learning to become a good steward of the blessings entrusted to us, sowing into the Kingdom of God, and watching that seed flourishes and multiply.
In doing so, we find true fulfillment and leave a lasting legacy that extends far beyond the temporal realm.
With gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose,
Ben Lovro
